File:Frontal lobe animation.gif
Summary
A rotating animation of the human brain showing the left frontal lobe in red within a translucent skull. The right cerebral hemisphere is not shown, as if it were cut away. The anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) is sometimes also included in the frontal lobe (e.g. <a rel="nofollow" class="external autonumber" href="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bookshelf/br.fcgi?book=neurosci&part=A75">[1]</a>). Other authors include the ACC as a part of limbic lobe (e.g. <a rel="nofollow" class="external autonumber" href="http://www.netterimages.com/image/6967.htm">[2]</a>). This animation has taken the latter approach following two reference books: an electronic version of Talairach and Tournoux (1988)<a rel="nofollow" class="external autonumber" href="http://www.talairach.org">[3]</a> and Ono (1990)<a rel="nofollow" class="external autonumber" href="http://books.google.co.jp/books?id=xroe986wtkEC&lpg=PP1&dq=Ono%20sulci&as_brr=3&pg=PA9#v=onepage&q=&f=false">[4]</a>.
