Summary

The mobile offshore drilling unit <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q4000" class="extiw" title="en:Q4000">Q4000</a> holds position directly over the damaged <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deepwater_Horizon" class="extiw" title="en:Deepwater Horizon">Deepwater Horizon</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/blowout_preventer" class="extiw" title="en:blowout preventer">blowout preventer</a> as crews work to plug the wellhead using a technique known as "<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/top_kill" class="extiw" title="en:top kill">top kill</a>,".
