Summary
Simply supported beam under central point load. The shear and moment diagrams show an unconventional sign convention (the conventional sign convention is shown <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/en:File:Shear_and_Moment_Convention.jpg" class="extiw" title="w:en:File:Shear and Moment Convention.jpg">here</a>). A positive moment should be shown for the whole beam and the shear to the left of the load P should be positive.
