Giá Rai is a district-level town or simply town (thị xã) of Bạc Liêu Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the town had a population of 125,690.[1] The district covers an area of 348 km². The district capital lies at Giá Rai.[1]
Administrative divisions
The town is divided into two townships: Hộ Phòng[2] and Giá Rai (district capital) and the communes of Phong Thạnh, Phong Thạnh Đông, Phong Tân, Tân Phong, Phong Thạnh, Phong Thạnh Đông A, Phong Thạnh Tây and Tân Thạnh.
