WSRQ (1220 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a News/Talk format. Licensed to Sarasota, Florida, the station is owned by Florida Talk Radio, LLC and features CBS News,. Current Weekday lineup include Imus in the Morning, Laura Ingraham, Thom Hartmann, Health Check with Heidi Godman, Marilu Henner, Free Talk Live, Loveline with Dr. Drew, America Tonight with Kate Delaney, and Talk Radio Countdown Show with Doug Stephan. WSRQ carries Tampa Bay Rays Baseball and Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey.

The Station also features live local programming on the weekends.

WSRQ is also carried in East Bradenton on 106.9 FM using FM translator W295BH and in Sarasota on 98.3 using translator W252DF.

It was announced on July 14, 2011 that WSRQ will be acquired by Florida Talk Radio, LLC.[1]

WSRQ has been granted an FCC construction permit to move to a different transmitter site and decrease night power to 4 watts.[2]
