Štadión na Sihoti is a multi-use stadium in Trenčín, Slovakia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK AS Trenčín. In August 2005 the surface was replaced by artificial grass. [1] The stadium holds 3,500 people.

History

The stadium was built in the 1960s and used for football matches of FK AS Trenčín sport club. The original capacity was over 22,000 (mostly for standing) spectators. Due to disrepair the capacity was decreased to 16,000 then to 4,500 in 2008.[1] Renovations began in 2014 to increase the capacity to 12,000.[2] Current capacity due to reconstruction has decreased to 3,500 people. The intensity of the floodlighting is 1,200 lux.
