The 1893 Notre Dame football team was an American football team that represented the University of Notre Dame in the 1893 college football season. The team had no coach and played, compiled a 4–1 record, and outscored its opponents by a combined total of 92 to 24. After winning four consecutive home games against Kalamazoo College, Albion College, DeLaSalle Institute, and Hillsdale College, Notre Dame traveled to Chicago to play Amos Alonzo Stagg's Chicago Maroons on January 1, 1894. Notre Dame lost to the Maroons, 8–0.[1]
