The 1995 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards originated from The Summit (home of the Houston Rockets) in Houston, Texas, live on Nickelodeon on Saturday, May 20, 1995 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. Whitney Houston and DJ Rick Adams were hosts. Twenty-three million kids participated in the voting. Comedian and star of Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, Mark Curry was slimed.[1] The opening titles for the show were produced by Primal Screen.[2]
