Armoor or Armur is a town and a Mandal in Nizamabad district in the state of Telangana in India.[1] It was recently upgraded to a municipality. Armoor is situated on NH 7 in (Hyderabad-Nagpur) Section on {North-south Highway Corridor} and NH 16 (Nizamabad-Jagdalpur).It is one of the major towns in Nizamabad district. It is known for its agriculture. Turmeric is grown on a large scale and commercial seeds like Sorghum and Pearl Millet are grown.
