Robert "Bob" Chaperon (born 18 May 1958) is a retired Canadian professional snooker and billiards player.

Career

Chaperon's greatest achievement was winning the 1990 British Open, beating Alex Higgins 10–8 in the final.[4] He reached at least one other ranking quarter-final, the 1987 Grand Prix. He also won the World Cup with Canada in 1990 and the Canadian Snooker Championship in 1981, defeating Carey Lorraine in Ottawa.[5] He started slipping down the rankings in the 1990s and retired in 2003. He still plays in tournaments in North America.[6]
