Brian Natkin

Brian Natkin (born January 3, 1978) is a retired American football tight end who played for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP) where he was a unanimous selection All-American.

College career

During the 2000 NCAA Division I-A football season Natkin lead tight ends nationally with 64 catches for 787 yards.[1] Natkin was a unanimous selection to the 2000 College Football All-America Team, the only every UTEP player to earn unanimous All-American honors in football.[2] For his college career Natkin had 172 receptions for 1,934 yards and was a three-time first team All-WAC selection (1998-2000).[3]

Professional career

Natkin played 3 games for the Tennessee Titans in 2001, starting one game.[4] Natkin spent the 2003 pre-season with the St. Louis Rams.[5]

Coaching career

From 2004-2005 Natkin was a graduate assistant at UTEP after graduating from UTEP in 2003. In 2006 Natkin was an assistant coach at the University of Northern Colorado. From 2007-2011 Natkin was an assistant coach at Midwestern State University. Since 2012 Natkin has been the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator at UTEP.[6]
