César David (Santana) Puello (born April 1, 1991) is a professional baseball outfielder in the New York Yankees organization.

Professional career

Puello was ranked the #77 prospect in the pre-2011 Baseball America rankings.[1] Puello was added to the Mets' 40 man roster on November 18, 2011.[2]

Puello was invited to attend 2013 Major League Baseball spring training for the New York Mets in Port St Lucie, Florida. He was suspended for 50 games on August 5, 2013 for his relationship to the Biogenesis clinic.

Puello was released by the Mets on August 19, 2015 after complaining of back pain. Puello was on the Disabled List for the entire 2015 season before being released.
