This name uses Spanish naming customs: the first or paternal family name is Terrazas and the second or maternal family name is Sánchez.

Carlos Terrazas Sánchez (born 9 February 1962) is a Spanish football manager, currently in charge of CD Mirandés.

Football career

Born in Bilbao, Biscay, Terrazas began his managerial career at local Zalla UC, and subsequently worked with neighbouring Bilbao Athletic in Segunda División B. After spells with Gimnástica de Torrelavega, Burgos CF,[1] Bilbao Athletic and AD Ceuta, he was appointed at the helm of Segunda División club SD Eibar in June 2005.[2]

On 23 December 2005, Terrazas was relieved of his duties after a bad run of results.[3] In the 2007 summer, he moved to Real Jaén in the third division.

On 27 August 2009, Terrazas resigned from the Andalusians' bench, alleging personal problems.[4] On 29 September of the following year he moved to CD Guadalajara, replacing fired Kike Liñero.[5] He achieved promotion to the second level at the first attempt, and narrowly avoided relegation in the following season, being appointed general manager in the process.[6]

On 1 August 2013, after the Castilla-La Mancha side's administrative relegation, Terrazas announced his resignment.[7] He joined fellow league team CD Mirandés on 17 December, replacing Gonzalo Arconada.[8]
