Crivăţ is a commune in west side of Călăraşi County, Romania, composed of a single village, Crivăţ. It was administered by Budeşti town until 2006, when it received commune status. As of 2011 Crivăţ has a population of 2,290 .Distance to capital Bucharest is 45 km
