Darren Price
Darren Price (born 1980) is a Welsh politician and member of Plaid Cymru. He stood for the Gower constituency in the National Assembly for Wales election, 2007 and 2011.
Darren Price was born in Carmarthen, and lives in Cefneithin. Darren Price has a BA and MSc, and is a Councillor on Carmarthenshire County Council, representing the villages of Drefach, Cefneithin, Foelgastell and Gorslas. He was formerly a councillor on Swansea City Council, representing the Upper Lougher ward.
He led the Plaid Group on Swansea Council since 2004 and was the youngest of the City's 72 councillors. He was also the Group's spokesperson on Economic Development, Finance, Community Leadership and the Environment.
Darren Price works for the Welsh Ambulance Services Trust, having previously worked as a Political Assistant at the National Assembly for Wales. His main political interests are the economy, health and local government. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and rugby union.
