E Bukura e Qiellit (English: The beautiful one in heaven) — sometimes referred to as a male figure I bukuri i qiellit — is an Albanian mythological creature. In modern times the word is a designation for God in Christian circles in Albania.[1]

History

This myth is believed to originate from the ancient Illyrian era when it was believed that three gods divided themselves into heaven (E Bukura e Qiellit), ocean(E Bukura e Detit) and underworld (E Bukura e Dheut).[1]
