Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Edgar Röhricht (16 June 1892 – 11 February 1967) was a highly decorated General der Infanterie in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the LIX. corps. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Edgar Röhricht was captured by Allied troops in 1945 and was held until 1947.
