Elite Model Look India

The winner of the event represents India at Elite Model Look contest. The current winners of Elite Model Look India are Dipti Sharma and Pranav Patidar. They represented India at the world finale of Elite Model Look Contest held in Milan, Italy. The winners of the title take it for one year, taking part later in Elite Model Look contest.
Earlier, Femina Look of the Year used to send its winner to the contest. However it was discontinued after 1999 for unknown reasons. Elite Model Look India got the franchise in 1994.
In 2014, Navneet "Riknu" Malik and Vijaya Sharma, the winners of Elite Model Look India 2015 represent India at the world finale in China.[1]

History
Sheetal Mallar from Mumbai was the first ever Indian to represent India at Elite Model Look contest in 1994 and was among Top 15 finalist at Elite Model Look 1994. She was the first ever winner of Femina Look of the Year contest.[2][3][4]
The winners of Femina Look of the Year include Ujjwala Raut, Carol Gracias, Karishma Modi, Charmaine and Nethra.
2004–2012 Event
India has been participating in Elite Model Look since 1994 starting with Sheetal Mallar. She was the winner of Femina Look of the Year. In 2004, India sent two models to compete at the event. Vibhinita Verma and Suchitra were the first ever winners of Elite Model Look India Contest. Some notable winners are Dayana Errappa (Winner 2012) who later became one of the finalists at the Femina Miss India 2011 contest, Erika Packard (Winner 2009).[5] Manasvi Mamgai (Winner 2006).[6] She later won Miss Tourism International 2008 and was crowned Femina Miss India World 2010.
2014–present
In 2014, MAX India organised the event. The MAX Elite Model Look 2014 finale was held in Mumbai on October 12, 2014, the winners represented India the Elite Model Look 2014 contest held in China. Former Femina Miss India Supranational Vijaya Sharma of New Delhi and Rinku Malik of New Delhi were declared winners of the event.[7][8][9][10]

- Vijaya Sharma was Asian Supermodel 2012-2nd Runner Up and Femina Miss India Supranational 2013 , later represented India at Miss Supranational 2013 and was among the top 20 semifinalists.
- Dayana was a finalist at the Femina Miss India 2011 contest.
- Manasvi Mamgai later won Miss Tourism International 2008 and Femina Miss India in 2010.
