Erling Viksjø

Erling Viksjø (4 July 1910 – 2 December 1971) was a Norwegian architect. He was born in Trondheim.

Among his designs are the government building complex in Oslo, Bakkehaugen Church, the Tromsø Bridge and Bergen City Hall. He was co-inventor of a concrete facade which was patented as Naturbetong in 1950. He earned the award Betongtavlen in 1961 and 1963.[1][2]

During the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany Viksjø was imprisoned in Grini concentration camp from April 1944 to the war's end in May 1945.[3]
