Fired Up is a vehicular combat game available on the PlayStation Portable which supports up to eight players. The game features a demo of Wipeout Pure. The game features three places and five playable drivers. Fired up features game sharing and downloadable levels. It is an advancement on the 2003 PlayStation 2 game Hardware: Online Arena.

Gameplay
Fired Up's Campaign mode is set in an unnamed eastern European country that has been invaded by a neighbouring country only known as "The Republic". The player plays as a fighter for a resistance army in several different vehicles:
- Addo - Addo is an Ex-Ghanaian secret agent, not much is known about him. He drives the Osono Charger.
- Isabel - Isabel is a woman from the Philippines, she worked for a multinational construction company as well as the Filipino Army. She was in the Invaded country, when she decided to work for Ado and his resistance force and thus gained sympathies for him. Isabel drives the Frame buggy.
- Viktoria - Viktoria is from Sweden and works as a UN Peacekeeper, She has many graduations in political science and many more as she studied in the US and is Isabel's best friend. She drives the Peacekeeper truck.
- Erik - Erik is from the invaded country and is regarded as a successful sportsman, as a winner of the Paris-Dakar races. He was abroard when his country was invaded and got in contact with Addo and started to fight back. Erik drives the Paris-Dakar buggy.
- Tim - Tim is an Ex-British army tank commander, he had known addo from teaching the Ghanaian army. He had split up with his wife and has had a drinking problem. Tim drives the Barbarian Tank.
- "The Iron Lady"-The iron lady is the general secretary of the republic, she is regarded as a stern and slightly odd woman but has good trading agreements with the west. She is not an important character and is only seen about three times in introductions to maps.
The player can take on the subsequential missions, whenever they please, otherwise he/she can find yellow scavenge tokens which, for every 10 tokens are collected, new or more secondary weapon types will be available; The player can then use these against AI enemies, that spawn to attack the player; These weapons range from: missiles, grenades to lasers and top-striking missiles. There are also turrets, for the player to use as well.
Also available are Fired Up challenges, taking on the form of large trucks that roam the city. Upon destruction of one, the player must seek and eliminate the required amount of enemies before the allocated time elapses. For every level of challenge complete, more, and better, health and armor pickups will spawn for the player to collect.
Single player Maps
Downtown - The Republic invades a cold, frosty, town and has placed all the residents under house arrest. Addo, and local rebel forces, have formed an alliance to fight back. Addo must help the resistance forces by destroying key convoys, stifling incoming enemy forces and supplying the turret defenses, placed strategically amongst the war-torn ruins.
Tundra Mountains - Amongst the heights of the mountainous region, in the north, best friends Vikktoria and Isabel (or Izzy) search a remote oil facility to investigate the truth behind the Iron Lady's invasion plots, whilst avoiding Republic patrols.
Republic Capital - The beating heart of the organisation. A pair of misfit rogues, Tim and Erik, embark on a mission to stir up trouble, and cause a civil war between the citizens and the military. To do so, they must disrupt and destroy key political targets in an attempt to cause the local people to riot against their oppressors, and corrupt politicians by any means nessecary.
Republic Arena - All four heros square off against the Iron Lady's last resort: A massive uber tank, backed by plenty of reinforcements. When they have destroyed this hulking behemoth, the citizens are free to raid the republic's political offices.
Multiplayer
The game features an 8v8 multiplayer mode, through ad-hoc. The host can choose a variety of maps, and game modes. Prior to the game starting, the players can choose their preferred vehicle: ranging from the protaganists, rebel vehicles or even republic ones.
Modes
Deathmatch - straight up vehicluar brawl. Weapons vary on the map for which the players can use against their opponents. Also includes Team Deathmatch
Team Capture the Flag - Players must grab the enemies' flag and return it to their base to score a point. Be wary as the enemy will do the same.
King of the Hill - A point is to be contested by all players. The winner is the one who has stayed in the hill, the longest. In Team King of the Hill, it is the team with the highest score will win.
Team Bomb the Base - Players must pick up explosives, spawning randomly across the map, and deliver them to the enemy's base. Ownership of bombs are carried over to players who kill enemy bomb carriers.
Assimilation - All players begin 'infected' but can find and pickup 'Antidote' pickups to cure them. The infected must then re-infect those by finding and either contact or kill. The last remaining player to be infected wins.
Race: The map is modified into a circuit and the first player to cross the finish line, is the winner. Along the way are items for the player to use but they may either help or hinder the player in some way.

Features
The game also features game sharing to allow those to provide a 'demo' version of the game to those who don't own a copy. Also included is a Wipeout Pure demo.
