Fujairah International Airport (Arabic: مطار الفجيرة الدولي‎‎) (IATA: FJRICAO: OMFJ) is located 1 nautical mile (1.9 km; 1.2 mi) south[1] of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.

History

The airport commenced operations on 29 October 1987.[2] and can handle 2 million passengers annually. Rotana Jet launched services to Abu Dhabi in September 2012.[3] The airport is also home to an aircraft recycling facility.[4]
