Gardner Budd
Frederick Gardner Orford Budd (11 February 1904 – 1976) was an Irish barrister, politician and judge.
In 1925, he was a scholar of Trinity College, Dublin studying Modern History and Political Science.[1]
He was elected to Seanad Éireann as an independent member in August 1951, by the University of Dublin constituency.[2] He resigned on 2 October 1951 on his appointment as a judge of the High Court.[2] William J.E. Jessop won the subsequent by-election.
He was appointed to the Supreme Court of Ireland in 1966 and served until 1975.
