Inside MMA is a live mixed martial arts news magazine, which airs on AXS TV Friday nights at 12:30aET/9:30pPT, immediately following the network's live AXS TV Fights broadcasts. Hosted by Kenny Rice and UFC Hall of Famer Bas Rutten, the show provides an in-depth look at the world of MMA, with live breakdowns, talk, highlights, and analysis from major MMA organizations such as the UFC, Bellator, and the World Series of Fighting. Inside MMA debuted on AXS TV, then known as HD Net, in September 2007, and is currently the longest-running Mixed Martial Arts news show on television.[1]

Hosts
Inside MMA is anchored by award-winning sports reporter Kenny Rice and four-time world champion, former UFC heavyweight champion, and King of Pancrase Bas Rutten,[2] along with correspondent Ron Kruck who provides in-depth reporting from the field. Kruck also fills in as co-host on occasion.[3]
Content
Inside MMA airs immediately following AXS TV Fights broadcasts. Each show begins with highlights and analysis of the night's event with AXS TV Fights commentators UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich and "The Voice" Michael Schiavello.[4] Hosts Rice and Rutten also provide highlights from MMA and other combat sport events from around the world, featuring promotions such as UFC, Bellator, World Series of Fighting, and One FC, as well as many other regional MMA promotions.[5] Each episode also includes a viewer submission segment, featuring highlights submitted by Inside MMA viewers.[6]
Correspondent Ron Kruck provides on-site coverage of major MMA events, feature stories on issues facing the sport, and interview segments with fighters, coaches, trainers, and others who contribute to and influence Mixed Martial Arts.[7]
Guests
‘’Inside MMA’’ frequently features in-studio, on-site and satellite interviews with guests from all facets of the sport, including fighters, promoters, managers, officials and journalists.[8] Notable guests include Dana White,[9] Ronda Rousey,[10] Daniel Cormier,[11] Nick Diaz,[12] Conor McGregor,[13] Gilbert Melendez,[14] Tito Ortiz,[15] Georges St-Pierre,[16] Jose Aldo,[17] TJ Dillashaw,[18] Dominick Cruz,[19] Jon Jones,[20] and Mickey Rourke.[21]
Guest hosts
Occasionally, MMA fighters will fill in as special guest hosts on Inside MMA. Past guest hosts featured on the show include Johny Hendricks,[22] Roy Nelson,[23] Phil Davis,[24][25] Miesha Tate,[26] and Urijah Faber.[27]
History
On August 15, 2014, UFC fighter Krzysztof Soszynski officially announced his retirement from the sport, citing memory loss, in a live on-air exclusive, while appearing as a guest on an episode of Inside MMA.[28]
In late 2014, AXS TV announced that the show would move time slots to after the network's weekly live AXS TV Fights broadcasts. The move would take place starting Friday, Nov. 7, 2014.[29]
In May 2015, UFC President Dana White appeared on the show to announce that Rutten would be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in July.[30]
