The Bhaddal Institutes was established in July 1998 by the Kandi Friends Educational Trust under the leadership of Revered Er. Guracharan Singh in order to spread quality education in the state, and especially in the less privileged Kandi area.[citation needed] All the programs of the Technical Campus have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Council of Architecture New Delhi, Govt. of Punjab and Affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.[clarification needed (unclear sentence construction)]
