Jack Hingert (born 26 September 1990) is an English-Australian football (soccer) player who plays as a defender for A-League club Brisbane Roar.
Early life
Hingert was born in London, England and attended Woodcote High School in Coulsdon, London.[2] He moved to Australia as a teenager, settling in Melbourne, Victoria and attended Wesley College in Glen Waverley, Melbourne.[3]
Club career
He spent time at the youth academy of Crystal Palace [4] before joining Knox City in the Victorian State League.[4] In 2008 moved to Peterborough United. He returned to Australia in 2009 and played for Dandenong Thunder in the Victorian Premier League.[5]
In July 2009, he joined North Queensland Fury[6][7] and appeared 11 times over the next two seasons before returning to Dandenong Thunder in 2011 during the A-League off-season. In July 2011, he signed a two-year contract with Brisbane Roar.[8]
Hingert scored his maiden A-League goal in the 2014/15 Round 25 clash against Adelaide United, ordaining the goal with a Karate Kid celebration.
