Jahanu

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Jahanu was an ancient Hindu sage. According to mythology, upon being disturbed by the passage of the Ganges river, he drank up the entire river. Afterwards, when his wrath has subsided, he relented, and allowed the river to issue out of his ear. Accordingly, one of the names of the Ganges is Jahanvi.[clarification needed]
