Jean-Sébastien Jacques (born 1971) is the CEO-designate of Rio Tinto Group, and will succeed Sam Walsh in July 2016.

Early life
Jacques was born in France[3] in 1971,[4] has a master's degree from École Centrale Paris.[2]
Career
Jacques joined Rio Tinto in 2011, and became head of copper and coal businesses.[5][6] Jacques became deputy CEO on 17 March 2016 and will become CEO on 2 July 2016.[7]
Jacques was previously group strategy director for Tata Steel.[5]
Personal life
He is married, with children.[4]
