John Brillhart

John David Brillhart is a mathematician, professor emeritus at the University of Arizona. He is known for his work in integer factorization, including the development of the continued fraction factorization method.[1] He has been a principal participant in the Cunningham project.
Brillhart received his A.B. in 1953, his M.A. in 1966, and his Ph.D. in 1967,[2] all from UC Berkeley.
He is in the process of editing the collected works of Leonard Carlitz.
