Jung Dae-Hyun (Hangul: 정대현; born June 28, 1993), known mononymously as Daehyun, is a South Korean singer dancer.

Life and career
1993–2011: Early life and career beginnings
Jung Daehyun was born in Gwangju, South Korea, on June 28, 1993. When he was in elementary school, he moved to Busan with his family. Daehyun has an older brother.
He studied in Seokwang Elementary School, Sajik Elementary and Middle School. At age 18, he graduated from the Busan Computer and Science High School. While in high school, he trained in the Nataraja Academy in Busan. He joined TS Entertainment in the summer of 2011, and was the last member added to the group. He trained for 6 months before debuting with B.A.P.
2012–present: B.A.P

In March 2011, TS Entertainment hinted at the debut of a new a boy band in 2012.[1] Bang Yongguk was the first member to be announced by TS Entertainment, with singles such as "Going Crazy" and "I Remember".[2][3] In August 2011, TS Entertainment introduced its second member, Kim Him Chan and said that he will be an emcee in MTV's The Show.[4] In November 2011, TS Entertainment stated that they will debut a sub-unit group for their upcoming boy band previously known as "TS Baby" featuring Bang Yongguk and another member.[5]
