The L.A. Wolves FC is an American amateur soccer club based in Torrance, California. They are named after the Los Angeles Wolves who played in the United Soccer Association in 1967 and in the North American Soccer League in 1968. The club has three teams which are L.A. Wolves (United Premier Soccer League), L.A. Wolves II (United Premier Soccer League) and L.A. Wolves Reserves (Continental Soccer League South Bay - El Segundo)

History

In 2014, the L.A. Wolves FC were re-launched[1] by club owner Yan Skwara. They play their home games at Toyota Park in Torrance and are a current member of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), a USASA Premier league. They play in the UPSL's Western Conference.[2]

On August 30, 2014 the L.A. Wolves played their first match, a 6-0 victory in a friendly over the Orange County Crew at Toyota Park.

June 16th 2015

Wolves midfielder, Cameron Marlow has agreed to sign with The Queen's Park Football Club in Scotland. The QPFC Head Coach Gus MacPherson said, "We spotted Cammy last season when he was starring for Glenafton and we were recruiting heavily from the juniors. He was already committed to going out and playing in America again however we kept in touch and we are looking forward to him joining us." [3]


L.A. Wolves FC vs Club America U-20

On Sunday, July 12th 2015 the L.A. Wolves hosted a match against Mexico's most successful team Club America's U-20 at Mira Costa High School Soccer Stadium.The L.A. Wolves ended up losing the match 0-5.

U.S. Open Cup

On Saturday, November 20 2015 the L.A. Wolves Football Club played the biggest game in franchise history in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifier Versus Cal FC.
