Larry and Mitch Raikes (the Raikes brothers) built the first Larry's Giant Subs in Jacksonville, Florida in 1982. After seeing the response the first store received, the two brothers were inspired to branch out and take their concept nationwide. Now, the Larry's Giant Subs menu features submarine, deli, and New York style sandwiches. Larry's Giant Subs currently has 63 franchised stores nationwide.
