Lewisham bus station is a former bus station in Lewisham in South London. Despite its name, it was not a publicly accessible bus station and was just a standing area for buses terminating at Lewisham Station. However, before 1999 (the DLR's extension to Lewisham) bus stops were located outside the modern day Southeastern building.[1]
After decades of use,[citation needed] Lewisham bus station's final day of operation was on Friday, 28 February 2014, as the site was cleared for the major Lewisham Gateway highway reconfiguration and redevelopment project.
