MacArthur Fellow
- The following Fairfied University graduate was a recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship (sometimes nicknamed the "genius grant"), which is an award given annually by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation to typically 20 to 40 citizens or residents of the U.S., of any age and working in any field, who "show exceptional merit and promise for continued and enhanced creative work."

ASIANetwork Freeman Student-Faculty Fellows

Fulbright Scholars
- The following Fairfield University graduates were recipients of a Fulbright Fellowship, which are grants for the international educational exchange of scholars, educators, graduate students and professionals.[3] The Fulbright Program is one of the most prestigious awards programs worldwide.
Goldwater Scholars
- The following Fairfield University students were recipients of a Goldwater Scholarship, which is a scholarship given annually by the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation to undergraduate students who plan to pursue careers in math, the natural sciences or engineering. The Scholarship is the most prestigious award in the U.S. conferred upon undergraduates studying the sciences.
Clare Boothe Luce Scholars
The following Fairfield University students were recipients of a Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship, which is a two-year full scholarship given annually by the Clare Boothe Luce Foundation “to encourage women to enter, study, graduate, and teach” in science, mathematics and engineering."
McGowan Scholars
- The following Charles F. Dolan School of Business students were recipients of a McGowan Scholarship, which is a scholarship given annually by the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund recognizing "...the academic achievements and excellence of students pursuing a major offered by an accredited business school. It is designed to encourage leadership ability, interpersonal skills, and a significant involvement in academic, campus and community activities. It also recognizes excellence of character, a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial potential."[4]
Udall Scholar
The following Fairfield University student was a recipient of a Morris K. Udall Scholarship given by the Morris K. Udall Foundation, which are awarded to college sophomores and juniors who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to the environment
