List of Finnish locomotives

From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
Jump to: navigation, search

This is a list of locomotives and multiple units that have been used in Finland. VR Group (privatised in 1995, previously Valtionrautatiet, Finnish state railways) has a monopoly on passenger traffic and is currently the only freight operator on the Finnish rail network. Some trainsets are however owned by other companies such as fi (Pääkaupunkiseudun Junakalusto Oy) or Karelian Trains.
