MV Viking Sea, classified as a small cruise ship,[4] was built by Italian shipbuilders Fincantieri for Viking Ocean Cruises. She sailed from Venice to Enderby Wharf on the River Thames at Greenwich, London, England, where on 5 May 2016 she became the largest vessel named in London. She will sail around Scandinavia, the Baltic and across the Mediterranean during her maiden season.[4] Viking Sea will have two sister ships, Viking Star and Viking Sky.[5]
A car carrier registered in Singapore shares the name Viking Sea.[6]
Facilities
Viking Sea has passenger accommodation, three swimming pools, a spa, a fitness center, two restaurants and a café, lounges, a winter garden, a terrace, a sports deck, theatre and bars, and shops.[7]
Current position
The vessel's current position can be viewed online given the IMO or MMSI number on the MarineTraffic and other Web sites, as is the case for most ships. Click on one of these parameters in the Infobox to view the current position and other details.
