The Maria Lenk Trophy (Portuguese: Troféu Maria Lenk) is a Brazilian swimming tournament contested by teams.[1] It is considered the Brazilian 'Summer Trophy', and is one of main two events of the Brazilian Swimming calendar, together with José Finkel Trophy. Initially the tournament was simply named Brazilian Swimming Trophy. It was rename in 2007 in tribute to Maria Lenk, a former Brazilian swimmer whom was the first female South-American Olympic athlete.[2] The first edition was held in 1962. The meet is mostly held in a long course (50 m) pool.

The trophy has hegemony of teams from the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Minas Gerais. The first champion was Paulistano Club. The most successful teams are Pinheiros and Flamengo, having 14 and 13 titles, respectively. The current champion is Pinheiros.[3][4]

In 2016, the Trophy is an Swimming Test Event to 2016 Olympics and is being held at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro.[5]
