Mark Du Plessis (born 3 October 1975, in Zimbabwe) is a horse racing jockey. He was champion apprentice jockey in Zimbabwe in 1994/1995 and the winner of Zimbabwe senior jockeys' championship in 1997/1998. He has ridden winners of 24 G1s in New Zealand and more than 1500 winners overall. He has ridden 60 winners in each of the last two seasons during brief stints in Hong Kong.
