Me And My Arrow is a song written and recorded by American singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson for his 1970 album The Point!.[1] It was also released as a single in 1971, reaching number 34 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 27 on the Cash Box Top 100.[2]
The song was composed as the theme for Oblio, the pointless boy, and his dog, Arrow. Although the song may be a reference to take a direction and suddenly not knowing where to go, it is in fact about the friendship between Oblio and the dog. It is also a parable for discrimination.[citation needed]
