Mehmed Alispahić (born 24 November 1987) is a Bosnian footballer who currently plays for HNK Šibenik.

Career

Alispahić began his career with NK Iskra Bugojno in the First League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He joined Croatian Prva HNL club HNK Šibenik in 2008. In May 2011, Alispahić agreed a transfer to Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb, where he stayed for a year and a half, before moving on a free transfer to HNK Rijeka in late December 2012. After short spell at FK Sarajevo, he returned to Šibenik. He played his first game against HNK Cibalia, direct competitor to promotion to Prva HNL. Unfortunately, the match finished 0-0 and Cibalia got promoted.

International career

After an impressing finish to the 2009-10 season with Šibenik, including some spectacular goals, he received his first call-up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team in May 2010 for the friendly matches against Sweden and Germany. He made his debut against Sweden, coming on as a substitute in the second half.
