Mesirow Financial is a financial services firm based in Chicago. The firm is independent and employee-owned with about 1,200 employees globally. Founded in 1937 by Norman Mesirow,[1] the firm is made up of four divisions:
- Wealth management
- Global Markets (including Investment banking)
- Insurance Services
- Consulting
As of 2012, the firm had 1,200 employees and $491 million in annual revenues.
The company serves institutional investors, public sector entities, corporations and individuals. It is also an independent insurance consultant.
