Minicom Advanced Systems (Hebrew: מיניקום‎) is an information technology manufacturer of KVM switches, extenders and remote access management solutions that facilitate control of corporate IT environments. The company is located in Jerusalem, Israel, and has regional offices in North America, Europe and China.[1]

History

Minicom, established in 1988 operates in over 70 countries and has over 150 employees. In October 2006, Minicom received an investment from Intel Capital. In December 2009, Minicom initiated the Data Center Alliance, formed with Minicom, Wright Line, ServerTechnology, Uptime Devices, and Digi International. In March 2010, Minicom spun out Minicom Digital Signage, after getting a major investment from leading Venture Capital funds, as Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP).
