Nintendo Web Framework (codenamed Bamboo) is a development environment based on WebKit technologies. It is used to develop video games for the Wii U system using many different languages including: HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS. This framework supports the Wii U GamePad controller, Wii Remote controllers, and some other JavaScript extensions.[2]
