P. U. Shanmugam

P. U. Shanmugam (born June 18, 1923) was an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was SSLC educated at Municipal High School in Tiruvannamalai.[1] He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Tiruvannamalai constituency as an Independent candidate in 1957 election, as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 1971, and 1977 elections.[2][3][4] and from Melmalayanur constituency as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 1980 election.[5]
