The company grew throughout the 1970s and 1980s, which allowed it to acquire Australian façade maker Permasteel in 1987, after which it became Permasteelisa.
In 2005 the company had accumulated €25 million of debts, but their situation improved, and by 2008 they reported net profits of €44.28 million from revenues of €1.137 billion, with an equity of €130.26 million.[1]
