History

General Casimir Pulaski 1745-1779. "An officer famous throughout Europe for his bravery and conduct in defense of the liberties of his country against... great invading powers.[1]

Omaha Polish Landmarks

Pulaski Park located on 4065 "G" St, Pulaski Park was named after a Gen. Casimir Pulaski, a Polish hero of the American Revolutionary War in a vibrant ethnic neighborhood in South Omaha.
Print and Photographs-Library of Congress The park has an interpretive exhibit on Pulaski and Polish influence on Omaha's growth.[2]

Beautification

Burlington Road Neighborhood Asso. as officially adopted the park.
They sponsored a clean-up day on May 30 of 2009.[3] Pulaski Park Plans for June 2009! Thanks to the $5000 Mayor's Grant, Pulaski Park's has additional Picnic Pads and electrical hookups. Rebecca Barrientos-Patlan and Virgil Patlan have worked hard to accomplish this wonderful addition. Thanks!
