PyBOP (benzotriazol-1-yl-oxytripyrrolidinophosphonium hexafluorophosphate) is a peptide coupling reagent used in solid phase peptide synthesis. It is used as a substitute for the BOP reagent, thus avoiding the formation of the carcinogenic side product HMPA.[1]
