Quido Lanzaat (born 30 September 1979 in Amsterdam[1]) is a Dutch footballer.[2]
Career
Lanzaat is a product of the AFC Ajax football academy. With Ajax, he played in the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Champions League. In early 2000, he moved to Germany to play for Borussia Mönchengladbach[3] and in 2002 he was transferred to Alemannia Aachen; with that team, he reached the final of the DFB-Pokal in 2004. In 2004, he was acquired by TSV 1860 München.[4] His last team before moving to Bulgaria in the summer of 2007 was MSV Duisburg,[5] for whom he played in the 2006–07 season, he moved from MSV Duisburg to CSKA Sofia on a free transfer.[6] Lanzaat was on trial with Aberdeen FC in the Scottish Premier League[7] and he was close to joining Coventry City F.C. in the Coca Cola Championship after impressing on trial.[8] On 8 July 2009, he returned to Germany and signed a contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena.[9] On 24 June 2010, he resigned from FC Carl Zeiss Jena and left the club.[10]
