The Republic of Ireland national futsal team represents the Republic of Ireland during international futsal competitions such as the FIFA Futsal World Cup and the European Championships. It is under the direction of the Football Association of Ireland. The national team was first formed in 1983. Their first match was against Belgium. After a few friendlies in 2001, the national team was restarted in 2008.
