"River of Tuoni" is the first track on Finnish symphonic power metal band Amberian Dawn's 2008 album, River of Tuoni, as well as the first track ever recorded by the band, and the first on their self-titled demo. As all of Amberian Dawn's compositions, the song was composed by band leader Tuomas Seppälä and its lyrics were written by lead singer Heidi Parviainen.
The song has marked itself as one of Amberian Dawn's leading hit songs, being their most played song on Last.fm and a common part of their live repertoire.[1] Since January 2010, the song has been available on the Rock Band Network.[2]
Music video
In promotion to their River of Tuoni album, in May of 2008, Amberian Dawn released a music video of the song, with the band playing the song and the camera shooting a beautiful ocean scenery. The song thus marked their first music video.[3]
