Ryan Paevey (born September 24, 1984)[2] is an American actor and model best known for his contract role as Nathan West on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital.[3][4][5][6]
Personal life
Paevey was born in 1984 in Torrance[1] and grew up in Los Angeles. Paevey also lived in Harlem.[2] His father's name is Les Vlieger.[7] His mother's name is Linda Paevey and he has a younger sister named Kaitlyn with whom he is very close.[8][9] Paevey ran track and cross country in high school.[8] His hobbies include video games, surfing and cooking, and his favorite food is sushi.[8] He speaks French and can read Japanese.[8] Paevey is Dutch and Indonesian on his father's side.[1]
Career
Paevey's previous career consisted mostly of print and commercial modeling, as well as the 2012 film 4 Dead Girls: The Soul Taker and Christina Aguilera's 2012 music video for "Your Body".[10][11] In October 2014, Paevey joined Extra as a correspondent.[12]
